ok. cassie said she cant sign in for some reason so you guys are gonna see loads of my posts for now X) youre gonna get bored. oh wells..
as i have said in the tag board, you guys need to tell me when your midyear exams are so i can work out our schedule. since i only know our mg schedule, i'll just use it first. just tell me your exam dates and i'll change it.

for our first group meeting on 19 may:
1)we go for a picnic in botanic gardens.. cos we can bring food, sit down and talk, and can run around on the field and go high.
2) we go to suntec, eat, talk and shop around for anime and cosplay stuff. equipment and accessories and all. we'll get cloth from spotlight on another meeting. pls bring lotsa lotsa money X)
3) suggest another place that will make us all happy X)
thats it for meetings.
now, i gotta tell you guys this. for all those people wearing specs, you gotta get used to wearing contacts if your character's eye colour is not the same as yours. i recommend soft lens. easy to wear and its comfortable. however, colour contacts are NOTHING like normal contacts. theyre soft but will be uncomfortable for half the day and they will feel as if theyre gonna come off any moment. warning warning X) and try to get the colour as close as possible..
and now for poses poses. cos some people dunno how to pose.. you guys can look at behindinfinity's deviantart for their poses. find pictures of your characters from the net (sure have one!) and learn it or make some up yourself. fix your face expression too X) or we all help each other with poses on the first group meeting X) on the cosplay day, we might or we actually will have some impromptu poses cos photographers might want us to pose this way and that way..

ok. we got a new member. kira will be played by emma. and i heard a hanataro wants to join us? ahah! our group's expanding! X)
everyone know that we have online meetings rite, so our meeting days will be every SATURDAY at 8 OR 8.30 PM. cos everyone seems to be free by then. but in any case when everyone's coincidentally online, we'll just have one there and then. just like the previous one. X) haiz.. i missed the previous one. heard soifon and urahara got really high. soIfon. NOT soYfon.. soya bean MILK. NOT soya bean BEES. X)
and from your previous online convo, we will be meeting in person. most probably some where in MAY. 1ST or the 17TH. we'll be having lunch and know each other. just talking. we wont be learning the dance yet. the next in-person meeting would be after the o levels, 13TH NOV ONWARDS. by then everyone should be free and we will definitely be meeting more than once during that period until the cosplay day. X)
ok. here are some cosplay tips:
1) poses poses poses. try to get different ones. maybe 2 or 3. you wont want to keep posing with the same one all the time rite.. and work on the correct facial expression for the different poses. eg: nemu gotta look quiet and shy. byakuya gotta have a im-better-than-you face and not look like youre gonna kill someone (does he have this kind of expression?). (yes yes. im using both of you cos i dunno how to explain the rest. X)
2) for costumes, you guys will know what to draw. how much youre gonna pay the tailor for the costume depends on what kind of cloth material you buy. some easy to sew and some hard to sew. choose light and comfortable cloth for your sake. i wore fake leather last year cos my cousin oh so smartly bought it, cos it looked nice. it was hot. very hot.
3) for equipment and accessories , you guys gonna make them? the swords and arm bands.. you can make them bit by bit everyday when youre free. dont have to be the exact same sword design but just try your best. or if you really got no time at all you can borrow or rent or buy. X) oh! and make sure they dont break! X)
4) wigs wigs wigs. everyone's gonna wear wigs (except for those who dont). your not going to spoil your hair by colouring it just for that day. bad for hair. bad. you guys, can go to a hairdresser to put on your wigs and for styling. bring a picture of your character for reference. theyre gonna use losta losta hair pins X)
and you guys gotta update yourself from this blog so you know whats happening. ahah! thats it for now. X)

ok. i think tonight's online meeting will be canceled since most of us cant make it. byakuya and soifon gotta attend a concert, urahara got some secret training, hisagi cant make it on saturdays, hitsugaya's sick, i dont think gin will be online, hinamori hasnt been with us since the last 2 meetings so i doubt she will be tonight, and im feeling kinda cranky today. so only nemu and rukia's left. cant talk that much cos no one's around.
but there are things you might need to do:
1) think of a group name.
2) think of poses for photo taking. individual and group. you might wanna look at pictures for reference.
3) confirm on which costume youre gonna wear. cos i know some characters wore different costumes.
4) draw out the costumes. top and bottom separately.
5) think of a date and place to meet up. as cassie have said in the previous post, we will be meeting in person.

Second meeting

This meeting was neither productive nor very interesting. Lotsa people, especially the conversation drivers, were missing. I think Cheryl, Shannen, Daryl, Jasmine and Ryan COMBINED make good conversation drivers. *Cough* 8D
Anyway, we came to agreement that won't dance compeitively. (Me: *Cheer*) Lol. That said, we'll use it for bonding purposes. Or maybe if we decide to have a sudden fit of madness and just be a random dancing group 8D So if you haven't, kindly learn Hare Hare Yukai and Hona Sainara by the time we actually cosplay. It's quite easy and tons of fun ^^
Also, we'll be meeting up during the June Holidays. Unlike all our past meetings, this will be a face-to-face meeting. It's tentatively during the 3rd week of June Holidays on Saturday. Preferably everyone should be present, so the date might be moved around to suit everyone 'cause Jasmine and I realise some have training. What is confirmed though is that it will be a lunch. Where is another story. We're hoping to meet somewhere convenient for everyone, closer to where everyone stays. For now, just try to keep that day free.
Thirdly, discussed about etiquette for cosplaying. As all events go, there'll always be rules. Although, in general, all cosplay events have the same rules. Do read them here.
Finally, the next meeting! ^^ Tomorrow night, Saturday at 8pm. Hopefully, there will be more people. Do tag if you have seen this and remind your fellow cosplayers.

Right okay, proper post time ^^ (Yes, it's total implication xD)
First online meeting
As Jasmine mentioned earlier, every meeting's summary will be here.

Right now, on to what was discussed, which was mainly our dance item. It was discussed beforehand (between Jasmine and I) that we would enter the group dance compeition. However it seems that not everyone's too keen. So 2 things:
1) Would you like to dance compeitively or for fun?
Realise that if we do dance compeitively, there will be practices. Well, at least one or two so that we can coordinate. What we lack however is sufficient time. But as Shannen pointed out, it's a little pointless to practice and not compete. After all, most of us know what we want to dance.
2) What would you like to dance? Hona Sainara, Hare Hare Yukai, both or other suggestions.

Yay! ^^ This is finally up.
As you can tell by the previous post, Jasmine's a woman of few words (:D) so I shall do the posting. But where to start? So many things to say! *Contains excitement*
Introduction
HULLO THAR! 8D I'm Cassie ^^ You're reading this either because me, Jasmine, Shannen or Cheryl have directed you here. You've either been approached, annoyed by or conned by one of us into this. :D That said, Jasmine and I are the main co-ordinators of this cosplay group. Most major decisions are made by both of us.
About the blog
I must confess that this was a totally random decision by the both of us. Heh heh. But it's good anyway. Seeing as most of us don't know each other and it's gonna quite tough to reach all of you, we'll use this blog for anything we need to say or just about random Bleach things. ^^
Firstly, the blog name. Jasmine created it. I think most of you know what it means so I was explain. But I like the cool concept behind it. As Jasmine put it, "a white colour that's black (meaning impure cos ichigo went through a lot of obstacles in the anime)". Cool enough for me ^^
Secondly, because we are at Blogger, that means we have a Gmail address. Again, Jasmine's doing. Hover over it and you'll know why I said that. Feel free to drop us a note if you have anything to ask. One of us will try to answer asap.
Thirdly, to get to know one another better, maybe you could give us your blog link or some other online link? That's if you're comfortable with it. (I don't particularly like too many people reading mine. ><) I'll try to put up some cosplay/ Bleach links after this.
About the group
If you haven't been curious enough, the Us page has all our names and character names on it. Yes, go check it if you don't believe me. That's all the people we have, although some aren't confirmed. Of course, we always welcome more people, (Ichigo! T.T) so if you know anyone, feel free to drag them into this. Heh heh. xD
Cosplay
You all are probably wondering when we are starting this whole cosplay thing. Okay, as Jasmine and I are Sec 4 this year, we have to concentrate on our Os. (Majority of you are Sec 3...?) Anyway, as such, the last O Level paper is end of October. The event we are cosplaying at is Anime@Expo 2008, if I'm not wrong. It is usually the 2nd or 3rd week of November.
Does that mean we'll do nothing till then and chiong everything in a month? Well, Jasmine and I were thinking about it but because there are so many of us, we can't possibly get a tailor to make indivdual custom made costumes of all of us in a month. In light of this, we'll have a day during the June Holidays for this. This meaning measurements and stuff and possibly a meal together or something :D
Other than 2 of us in this group, most of us are new to cosplay or even anime. Yes, cosplay does cost quite a lot. Be prepared to part with a substancial amount of your money. Start saving like your life depends on it! I'm serious.
First meeting
There'll be an online meeting at 8.30pm this Saturday. I'd say it's compulsory but Jasmine and I are not people to force. Also, some people can't make it. Come if you like, get to know your fellow cosplayers. You will be added via the 4 of us so no worries about how you'll get into the conversation. I can't guarantee you won't go high, be bombarded by crap or get your computer lagged. :D
